The Real Softphone use of Location Services is optional, however is recommended.
When enabled and in the event you call 9-1-1, your GEO location is sent along with the call.
The received GEO information is not used for any other purposes.
While Enhanced 9-1-1 is the most advanced form of Emergency Dialing Service available, there are some limitations when it is provided by a VoIP provider. Therefore, you should always have an alternative means of accessing emergency services.
