How to setup Real Softphone on a computer (MAC or Windows):

Real Softphone

  • From the computer you want to use the softphone on, visit www.realsoftphone.com
    • click Download Now button,
    • select your operating system (MAC, Windows),
    • install app.
  • Launch Real Softphone app.

  • Login to the User Portal: 
  • Select Real Softphone from the menu.


  • If you have more than one device...
    Select CLONE DEVICE from the droplist. <-important


  • Enter your SIP Device Username and SIP Device Password, located on this page, into the Real Softphone app, then click Sign-on

That's it!  
Your app should now be setup and online.

Reminder: your SIP account username can only be used on one device.
To have more than one device (ie: ATA or IP phone and a softphone), you require a Clone Account.  Clone accounts can be ordered from the User Portal ($1.45 /month per clone, max of 2 clones per account).
