Recommended setup:
- From a different device (ie: computer, laptop, tablet)...
Login to the User Portal: - Select Real Softphone from the menu.
- If you have more than one device...
Select CLONE DEVICE from the droplist. <-important
- From your mobile device, visit www.realsoftphone.com
- click Download Now,
- select your operating system (Android, iOS),
- install app.
- Launch Real Softphone app and Click Scan QR Code button.
- Scan code that appears on User Portal.
** If you are doing this from the same device, you can manually enter the username and 32 character password that are listed just above the QR Code.
That's it!
Your app should now be setup and online.
Reminder: your SIP account username can only be used on one device.
To have more than one device (ie: ATA or IP phone and a softphone), you require a Clone Account. Clone accounts can be ordered from the User Portal ($1.45 /month per clone, max of 2 clones per account).
